Académie de l'Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo

 

The Académie de l’Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo, non-profit Monégasque association, is an Exclusive and Operational Member of the International Federation of Photographic Art for the Principality of Monaco (FIAP).

 The Académie de l’Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo aims are:

  • Develop and promote worldwide photographic knowledge from an artistic, educational and scientific aspect.
  • Establish friendly and fraternal relations in the field of photography between all affiliated members.
  • Bring together professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts of the art of photography to give them the opportunity to know each other and share their knowledge.
  • Organise meetings, contests and courses to develop and promote the world of photography.
  • Support its members within in their relationship with the FIAP with regards to any question or problem.

Any consideration of a political, ideological, racial or religious nature is totally excluded from the activities of the Académie de l’Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo.

Membership of the Académie de l’Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo includes an annual membership fee. This fee includes:  

  • Affiliation to the FIAP for both professional and amateur members,
  • Participation in FIAP international competitions and obtaining points valid for the FIAP world championship,
  • Assistance in case any problem with the FIAP,
  • Receipt of the monthly international magazine FIAP News,
  • Participation in events related to the world of photography in Monaco
  • Receipt of the Académie membership card which allows access to international FIAP events.

The President of the FIAP, Mr. Riccardo Busi, officially informs the authorities of the Principality that the Académie de l’Art Photographique de Monte-Carlo is the exclusive representative of the FIAP within the Principality of Monaco
